WHAT IS FOOD & FEELINGS?
Food & Feelings is a one to one therapeutic approach to disordered eating, weight concerns and body image issues.
It aims to:
• Reduce disordered eating that is associated with guilt, frustration and depression (secret eating, emotional eating, compulsive eating, restrictive dieting etc.) by finding a balance between indulgence and deprivation
• Establish a healthier relationship with food that is sustainable in the long-term
• Reduce shame and anxiety around body image and eating, and increase self-compassion
